Wildlife Assistance

If you have found injured, sick, or orphaned wildlife such as birds, raccoons, squirrels, or other native animals, please contact Project Wildlife, San Diego County’s primary wildlife rehabilitation organization.


They specialize in rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing wildlife back into their natural habitats.

Helpful tips:

• Keep the animal contained in a ventilated box or crate, covered with a towel.

• Do not offer food or water.

• Transport to the Wildlife Center if it is safe to do so.
