KRL Programs

This is our core program that KRL was founded with. It provides specialized care for the youngest and most vulnerable kittens, including bottle babies, orphaned litters, and underage kittens who cannot survive in shelters. We provide around-the-clock feeding, warmth, medical monitoring, and developmental support to give these fragile lives the best possible chance at survival.

This program supports kittens who require ongoing medical treatment, surgical intervention, rehabilitation, or specialized long-term care. From trauma cases and critical illness to congenital conditions and special-needs support, we ensure each kitten receives individualized veterinary care and the time needed to heal.

Our fosters and volunteers are the heart of our rescue. This program equips them with training, supplies, mentorship, and emotional support so they can provide safe, stable, and compassionate care. By investing in our foster network, we strengthen the foundation that allows us to save more lives.

This program focuses on preparing kittens for adoption, screening adopters, providing counseling, and matching each kitten with a loving, committed home. Through our adoption events and partner locations, we help kittens transition from rescue care into the families meant for them.

This program responds to urgent and time-sensitive situations involving kittens who require immediate safety or medical intervention. Whether due to injury, illness, unsafe conditions, or severe neglect, we work quickly to triage and stabilize high-risk kittens when rapid action is critical.

In collaboration with shelters and partner rescues across Southern California and beyond, this program helps move kittens out of overcrowded or high-risk environments and into safe foster homes. We coordinate neonatal transfers, medical transports, and cross-rescue support to ensure kittens in urgent need can reach proper care.

This program promotes awareness, responsible pet care, and community involvement. Through sharing resources, educating about kitten season, and offering guidance on found kittens, we empower individuals to make compassionate, informed decisions that reduce suffering and improve outcomes for animals.
